VDQS Awards

During each scientific conference, VDQS honour some scientific proposals by decerning awards.

"Verone d'Œnométrie - Domini Veneti "

First of all, owing to Guiseppe Gaburro, since 1992, during each conference VDQS has decerned the award "Verone d'Œnométrie - Domini Veneti "which consists in 100 bottles of Amarone "Domini Veneti" de la Valpolicella Cantina Sociale. This award honours quality and originality of a scientific work.

Local award
Secondly, Special prizes of high quality wines from the region within which the conference takes place are also awarded each year. Since 1993VDQS has decerned this award to promote young researchers.

 

"Liquid Assets Prize"
Last and not least, "Liquid Assets "- review directed by Orley Ashenfelter- has decerned since 2002 the Liquid Asset Prize Prize which consists of a 25 year old bottle. Quality of the oral presentation is one of the most important criterion of selection
